For ALS, EPALS, and NLS courses:

No, you must attend at least two centres.


The instructor training process is comprised of the completion of three stages:

  • attending a provider course on which you are nominated as Instructor Potential
  • attend the GIC
  • undertake two teaching practices (two teaching practices count as one stage).


A candidate can only complete two out of these three stages at the same Course Centre. For example:

  • provider course at Centre A,
  • GIC at Centre B,
  • teaching practices at Centre A

 

For ILS and pILS courses:
Yes, you can.
