Centre Admin: how to cancel a course

Modified on Thu, 8 Aug at 12:20 AM

We understand that there will be times when a course needs to be cancelled due to insufficient candidates or faculty or other unforeseen reasons.

The registered centre administrator can cancel an approved future course and courses that have passed one month via the Learning Management System (LMS).

Follow the steps below, which apply to both advanced and immediate courses:

  1. Go to the required approved course.
  2. Select ‘More’ on the course navigation bar:

Upon cancelling an ALS, ARNI, EPALS, ILSi and NLS course, the system will generate a Transfer Code valid for 18 months from the issue date. The code must be used in full when adding a new course date and cannot be split between new or existing course dates.

For both advanced and immediate courses, users must be unenrolled as follows:

  • Unenrol faculty.
  • Unenrol candidates with no recorded progress.
  • Transfer candidates who have recorded progress onto the new course (if available) or to the holding course.
