What happens if I don't meet the assessment criteria for the course?

Modified on Wed, 19 Mar at 5:10 PM

If a candidate does not meet the standards required by the GIC, they are deemed unsuccessful. However, they may apply to retake the GIC within one year. In their application, they must clearly inform the GIC course director that they are retaking the course.

If the candidate fails the GIC on their second attempt, their IP status will be revoked. To continue along their instructor journey, they must be recognised as possessing instructor potential (IP) in a future provider course.
